The Historic Valley Junction Farmers' Market runs from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every Thursday, May through September, in the heart of Historic Valley Junction in West Des Moines. With over 100 vendors, live music through the Music in the Junction concert series, and a warm community atmosphere, it's one of the most beloved Thursday evening markets in the Midwest.
You'll find everything from fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers to handmade goods, arts and crafts, and delicious prepared foods. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, it's the perfect way to spend a Thursday evening — and I'd love for you to stop by my booth while you're there!

About the Market
The Historic Valley Junction Farmers' Market is held on the 100–300 blocks of 5th Street in West Des Moines. It's one of the area's most cherished weekly events, with over 100 vendors at peak season offering fresh produce, baked goods, plants and flowers, arts and crafts, and prepared foods. The Music in the Junction concert series runs alongside the market from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., making it a true community celebration every week. Free parking and a free shuttle are available during market hours.
Both events are free to attend, family and pet friendly, and the perfect way to support local Iowa makers on a Thursday evening.
